I am not a regular blogger but mission undisclosed brought me to your website, Wow! I am quite amazed seeing this topic on your blog. It’s an indication that C&S is getting their and by His grace we will possess our Canaan land. It takes the Israelites four decades to get to their promise land, another one decade to allot the land, after a year or so seven tribes became slacked to take their possession, they are taking untimely rest; maybe they are waiting for Joshua, despite he has urged them to proceed. Cherubim and Seraphim will not relent, we will possess our possession in Jesus name. Let’s focus on the question at hand; where will you be after Rapture?
Firstly, I would define Rapture from theological perspectives, having in-depth knowledge of the word Rapture will inform your decision of where you want to be after or prior the rapture. Rapture, “rapio” in Latin, and “harpazo” in Greek is a caught up or seize up in the air, dispensationalists argue that it is an event when all the saints including those that are dead, the Elects of God are gathered, prior to the great persecutions by the Antichrist and 7 years tribulation (Matt.24:22-36)and are taken to the Lord lest they see the confusion and sufferings that is to overwhelm the world because of our sins (1 Corinthians 15:23; 1 Thessalonians 2:19; 4:13-18; 5:9; 23; James 5:8; 1 John 2:28).

As a Theologian, Study of an end time-ESCHATOLOGY it’s a subject that has long fascinated me, it is debatable, controversial and broad topic among Christian scholars. For better understanding of end time revelation (Apocalypse), it is vital that believers know the difference between Rapture and second coming of Christ, it also imperative that we are well educated (Sunday school teaching) in Redemption plan “Soteriology and Christology”. In reality the word Rapture like Trinity you will not find in the Bible, but the term is certainly an idea that Christians being raptured from the physical Earth to meet Jesus in the air. In Eschatology we have Pre- tribulationisim, the view that the event will occur before the seven years Tribulation (1Thessalonian 1:9-10; 5:9; 9:10; Rev.3:10), mid-tribulationism, the view that the Rapture will occur at the midpoint of the Tribulation (2 Thessalonian 2:1-3) and Post tribulationism, the view that the Rapture will occur after the end of the Tribulation period. I won’t drill into all these as I have said earlier that the topic is quite broad and sometimes unfathomable to the layman.
The interesting thing about Rapture doctrine is that the Bible does not give explicit time line concerning future events that is why we have diversity opinion concerning the end times and some varieties on how the related prophecies should be harmonized. If the Scripture is literarily and consistently interpreted, for the benefit of Christendom the pre-tribulationism position is the most biblically-based interpretation. Christian scholars are the proponent of Pre-tribulationism (believers hope) while the liberal scholars are opponent to this views. Pre-tribulationism assured us that we will not face God’s anger ever on earth or in eternity 1 Thess. 5:9; Rev.3:10, believers have hope that should this final event come to pass in their lifetimes, they will be kept from having to face God’s wrath during the seven years tribulation period, therefore it something every believers should be looking forward to.
In view of these discourse, a sincere believer is required to make the decision of where he/she would want to be prior to the Rapture or after the Rapture. By the good news of salvation God has given us through Jesus Christ we have the power of freewill to choose where we will be during the Rapture. I trust God will empower us and enable us to reign with Him IJN Amen. Stay bless.
