It is amazing how a lot of us struggle to believe when really it’s the easiest thing to do.
Many of us believe what we want to believe and as such act upon our belief. Some believe in the NHS system to ensure good health for us all and as such depend totally on the NHS. What happens when NHS fails you? We all go to the hospital and tell the doctors and consultants what our symptoms are and we believe that they will understand what we are talking about and as such treat us and make us better. What happens when the doctors and nurses fail you as they are bound to because they are only human and do not know it all no matter how many years of experience they have or how many qualifications they have. Only God knows all things and can do all things. God will not fail you.
Some of us believe entirely that our happiness and joy comes from getting a husband or wife, what happens when the relationship starts to go sour like most relationships do? Only God can truly give you joy and repair that relationship. Believe in God not your husband or wife.
Some of us believe in our children, this is all well and good. What happens when they let us down? Believe in God and help your children believe in God and God will not let you down.
I have even heard many motivational speakers say that we should believe in ourselves and we will get to wherever we want to get to. This is again great, we must believe in ourselves only when these believe is from God, not your abilities. This is where a lot of people get hit badly when they do not get to their goals despite hard work. As you all know, many are skilled but not many are successful. Those who manage success and prosperity believing in their hard work soon start to hit brick walls and things start to fall apart because the foundation of that success in not God.
Many take pills when unwell believing that it will work wonders and you will be well, despite the fact that you do not know what ingredients are inside, where or how it was made. I want you to apply that sort of absolute believe in God and see the wonders begin to occur in every area of your life. God will take charge of everything for you. Just believe.
Jesus Christ healed many in the bible but was very amazed at the belief some of them had in him and he pronounced that they have received healing based on their belief.
Some say I want to see before I believe, but the bible says believe and you will see. This is what happened when Jesus was about to raise Lazarus from the dead. He told Martha to believe and she will see the glory of the lord. She did indeed see the dead rise.
I pray today that you will choose to believe in God and his might and you will begin to see wonders in every area of your life. In the bible, it says pray and believe that you have received what you prayed for and it shall be so in Jesus Christ name. Amen
So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”
2 Chronicles 20:19-21
I would have lost heart, unless I had believedThat I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.
Psalm 27:12-14
Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.
Matthew 8:12-14
And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”
Matthew 9:27-29
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Mark 9:22-24
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Mark 11:23-25
