For the honor of your name, O LORD, forgive my many, many sins. Psalm 25:11
Another Lenten season has come around again. A time of reverence, to purge oneself, Spiritual detox, seeking forgiveness, charity and indeed a reflection of ones walk with God. We look back at the year that was—with or without regrets, what have we done with the life He has given us, how have you walked the talk. Is your living constantly in sin—and we make plans for the year to be. What will we achieve? How will we grow? How will we change? Time and opportunity to reconnect with God once again.
I love the C&S doctrine as it gives you a set-aside time during the calendar year to ‘reflect’. Where have I gone wrong? Has my sin become so normal that I dwell in it without guilt. Wallowing in sin and misguided that you are saved. Are you a liar, fraudster, adulterer, arrogant, selfish, self-centered, keeping malice, gossiping, speaking negatively of your fellowmen, not considering things of God, heartless, insensitive, unforgiving and many, many more?.
What are your friends causing you to do that you know is sinful, badmouthing your fellow man? How many people have you interceded for or stand in the gap for? how many people have you helped, financially, mentally physically or even spiritually?.
In your sphere of influence, how many people have you reached out to?.. The weary, tired, suicidal, tormented, depressed, lonely etc. Are you truly acting as the light of the world, affecting positively everywhere you go? or are you infecting them with your toxic of jealousy and pride? When people see you, do they recognize Jesus in you or more of the attributes of satan?.
When you reflect back at the past year and recall all you have done till now, where are you in Gods scale of Judgement?. He will judge everyone according to what they have done. Romans 2:6
God’s Righteous Judgment
…5But because of your hard and unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. 6God “will repay each one according tohis deeds.” 7To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life.… Romans 2:5
YOUR TIME IS NOW!.
COME BACK TO JESUS – HE NEEDS YOU
According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me thoroughly from my wickedness and guilt
And cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I am conscious of my transgressions and I acknowledge them;
My sin is always before me.
4 Against You, You only, have I sinned
And done that which is evil in Your sight,
Repent
Renounce
Revoke
Repent…
Consequences of Sin
Run back to JESUS your Maker!.
HELP me from lying lips, Cry out to Him
Deliver me, O Lord,
from a deceitful tongue. Psalm 120:2
God is the only one who is Light in your darkness. He sees all things and knoweth all things, he sees your sins and when you are committing them, the devil the accuser is also their urging you to sin the more so he can be your master pulling away from God.
Here is what the God of Isaiah saying to you today!
1 My child, the Lord who created you says, “Do not be afraid – I will save you. I have called you by name – you are mine. 2 When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you; your troubles will not overwhelm you. When you pass through fire, you will not be burned; the hard trials that come will not hurt you.
Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you, these 40 days of Lenten season, so you will come out of it refreshed, ignited, empowered and fired up to encounter God in a new dimension. I pray God of resurrection, resurrect everything dead in your life IJN.
Lord God,
you who breathed the spirit of life within me.
Draw out of me the light and life you created.
Help me to find my way back to you.
Help me to use my life to reflect your glory
and to serve others
as your son Jesus did.

Reading through this makes me knee to ask God for forgiveness. Because I had pain a Pastor in C & S Ayoni deceived me just because he wanted to take me to bed after telling him am keeping myself for the right person but now I know is not the church bit the individual. God will forgive us all.
Dear Sister Flourish,
I thank God for your life as you indeed are a living testimony of Gods grace and love to forgive the wrongdoer and abuser. So many people have sadly been victims hurt trusting the ‘wolves who camouflages as a child of God’. Their rewards is also awaiting them, for what evil they sow they too will reap a hundredfold.
Forgiveness unburdens the heart and gives peace to a troubled mind, for God sees everything and knows the burdens of our hearts and HE is the only burden remover, yoke destroyer that can help one cross over into Gods light, love and liberty. Thereby gaining more strength through Gods grace to rise above the situation and becoming a new person.
Today you are a living testimony to others too who have been abused, that forgiveness is the only way to move forward and live a happy life, so hatred can be replaced with Gods love so much that you can say ‘Father forgive them for they know NOT what they do’.
I pray God to make a way for you and grant all your heart desires, may you rise to be the best of the best and a living testimony of how God is Great, may He continuously be your strength and lifter up of your head. May endless Joy be your portion all the days of your life IJN.
God bless you sister Flourish and thank you for sharing with us..AyoNiO!
